COMPOSITION

Each tablet contains:
- Folic Acid - 5 mg
- Methylcobalamin - 1500 mcg
- Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) - 20 mg

CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY

- Folic Acid: Essential for DNA synthesis and repair. Helps in red blood cell production and bone marrow function.
- Methylcobalamin: Active form of Vitamin B12; crucial for nerve function and regeneration, and supports bone marrow health.
- Pyridoxine: Coenzyme in protein and glucose metabolism, plays a key role in neurotransmitter function and collagen formation.

INDICATIONS AND USAGE

- Supports bone health and new bone tissue formation
- Decreases homocysteine levels, reducing osteoporosis and fracture risk
- Improves bone mineral density and remodeling
- Aids in collagen synthesis and bone strength

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- Known hypersensitivity to any of the components
- Patients with Leber's disease - risk of optic nerve damage
- Folic acid may mask symptoms of pernicious anemia

PRECAUTIONS

- Use cautiously in individuals with renal or hepatic impairment
- Long-term use should be monitored with periodic blood tests
- Avoid in patients with untreated vitamin B12 deficiency if using folic acid

DRUG INTERACTIONS

- Anticonvulsants (e.g., phenytoin) may reduce folic acid levels
- Chloramphenicol may interfere with vitamin B12
- Alcohol may impair absorption of B vitamins
