COMPOSITION
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Etoricoxib IP 90 mg
- Etoricoxib IP 90 mg
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Etoricoxib is a selective COX-2 inhibitor with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It has rapid onset and prolonged duration of action.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
Indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gouty arthritis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or other NSAIDs, active peptic ulceration or GI bleeding, severe hepatic dysfunction.
PRECAUTIONS
Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and renal impairment.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
May interact with warfarin, ACE inhibitors, lithium, and methotrexate.
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless clearly needed.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Recommended dose is 90 mg once daily for acute pain conditions.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Common side effects include hypertension, dyspepsia, headache, and dizziness.
