COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains:
• Betahistine Dihydrochloride 8 mg
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
A histamine analogue that improves microcirculation in the inner ear, reducing endolymphatic pressure.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
• Mild cases of vertigo
• Meniere’s disease
• Balance disorders
• Tinnitus
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Pheochromocytoma
• Hypersensitivity to betahistine
PRECAUTIONS
• Use cautiously in asthma and peptic ulcer patients
• Monitor if used long-term
DRUG INTERACTIONS
• Interacts with antihistamines and MAO inhibitors
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
Should be avoided unless clearly necessary. Safety in lactation not established.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
1 tablet 2–3 times daily. Adjust based on response.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
• GI upset, headache
• Allergic reactions (rare)
