COMPOSITION
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Ferrous Ascorbate 100 mg
- Folic Acid 1.5 mg
- Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate equivalent to 22.5 mg elemental Zinc
- Ferrous Ascorbate 100 mg
- Folic Acid 1.5 mg
- Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate equivalent to 22.5 mg elemental Zinc
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Ferrous Ascorbate provides elemental iron in an easily absorbable form, Folic Acid supports DNA synthesis and red blood cell formation, and Zinc is essential for immune function and enzyme systems.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
Iron deficiency anemia, nutritional deficiency during pregnancy and lactation.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, or hypersensitivity to any of the components.
PRECAUTIONS
Caution in patients with gastrointestinal disorders or prior allergic reactions.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
May reduce absorbtion of tetracyclines, quinolones; avoid concurrent antacid use.
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
Safe and widely used in pregnancy and lactation to prevent anemia.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
One tablet daily or as directed by a physician
