DOBESACT

Calcium Dobesilate reduces capillary permeability and improves venous tone. It inhibits platelet aggregation and reduces blood viscosity. It also enhances nitric oxide synthesis, improving endothelium-dependent relaxation.

Used for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhoidal attacks, diabetic retinopathy, and varicose vein complications.

Hypersensitivity to calcium dobesilate or any excipients. Severe renal impairment.

Monitor in patients with known bleeding disorders. Caution in pregnancy and renal dysfunction. Avoid in those with sulfonamide allergy.

May potentiate the effects of anticoagulants. Monitor INR if used concomitantly.

Use only if clearly needed. Caution during lactation as safety data is limited.

500 mg twice daily or as directed by a physician.

Rash, gastrointestinal discomfort, fever, and rare cases of agranulocytosis.
