COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains:
- Gabapentin 100 mg
- Methylcobalamin 500 mcg
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Used in the management of:
- Diabetic neuropathy
- Low back pain
- Neuralgia
- Muscular dystrophy
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
Indicated for the relief of:
- Constipation
- Anal fissures
- Piles management
- Pre/Post-operative bowel evacuation
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Contraindicated in:
- Hypersensitivity to gabapentin or methylcobalamin
- Severe renal impairment (gabapentin dose adjustment needed)
PRECAUTIONS
Use cautiously in:
- Patients with renal dysfunction
- History of depression or suicidal ideation
DRUG INTERACTIONS
- Gabapentin may interact with antacids (separate by 2 hours).
- CNS depressants may enhance sedative effects.
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
Should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy.
Gabapentin is excreted in breast milk; consult a physician before use.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
One tablet once or twice daily depending on severity and physician's advice.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
- Gabapentin: Drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, ataxia.
- Methylcobalamin: Rare allergic reactions.
