COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains:
• Betahistine Dihydrochloride 16 mg
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Same as Betawick 8 mg. Used for more severe symptoms and provides enhanced control.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
• Meniere’s disease
• Vertigo (moderate to severe)
• Tinnitus
• Postural imbalance
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Pheochromocytoma
• Hypersensitivity to betahistine
PRECAUTIONS
• Caution in peptic ulcer and asthma
• Monitor for tolerance or dependence
DRUG INTERACTIONS
• Reduces effect of antihistamines
• May interact with MAO inhibitors
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
Avoid unless necessary; not recommended during lactation.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
1 tablet twice daily or as prescribed.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
• GI irritation
• Headache
• Rare hypersensitivity
